Oliver Kenny founded AAA FIRE SPRINKLER, INC. 30+ years ago, in Los Angeles, California. He would love to tell you that he had been bitten by the American entrepreneurial bug, but quite frankly, the economy was bad in 1979, and his company kept cutting his hours. An Irish immigrant with lots of horse sense, Oliver had been offered labor work for general contractors who knew the type of work he did, mainly functional aesthetic exposed piping; something that few pipe fitters could do well. (His work can still be seen at Tony Roma’s [previously known as Wompoppers] at the Universal City Walk in Los Angeles California, as well as numerous other locations in both the Northern and Southern California areas).

Whereas many fire sprinkler companies are owned by engineers, estimators, or even people with no fire sprinkler experience at all, AAA FIRE is owned by someone who has actual experience in installing the work. After all, in the end, what will be installed in your house is not a set of plans, or a financial flow chart, it is a fire sprinkler system capable of causing tremendous damage. Oliver knows what works, what doesn’t, with over 50 years of working in the field. Because he takes his work personally, he only buys materials and hires people who take fire sprinklers as seriously as he does.

After more than 30 years in business, Oliver is still the last word on quality at his small company. Although his work began with commercial construction, he has taken that expertise and transferred it, quite successfully, to residential construction. There has never been a job that AAA FIRE hasn’t been able to do well. Being a small company, we have, and always will, focus on quality and customer satisfaction. We still install almost every job at contract price, and we pride ourselves at getting better all the time. Being that we began with doing work no one else could do, getting better has not always been an easy task … he just made it look that way.
